Adored father of Brigitte, and Simone and father-in-law of Aurélien, loved brother and brother-in-law of Lois and Carlyle Irving, and beloved uncle to his niece Kim and nephew Glenn.

A service for Ian will be held in Caversham Baptist Church, corner South Road and Surrey Street, Caversham, Dunedin at 1.30pm on Friday June 14, followed by private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance, Dunedin would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
