Died in Dunedin Hospital with loving family by his side. Leaving his wife, Ngaire, his children and their partners, Kerry and Chanita, Arlene and Peter, the late Tania, and Toni and his grandchildren, Lochlan, Zachely, and Coen. Eldest son of the late Tom and Daphne Downing and son-in-law of the late James and Joyce Corrigall, brother and brother-in-law of Lindsay and Lee Downing, brother-in-law of of Allan and Clare Corrigall and uncle of his nephews.

“Dearly loved and sadly missed.”

A service for Wayne will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 12.30pm on Tuesday September 24, followed by private cremation.
