BRUCE, Loraine Ellen, QSM

On Tuesday January 28, 2020, at Ross Home and Hospital after a short illness; aged 88 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late John Bruce, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Alex and Karen, Rob and Jill (Wanaka), loved Nana or Nan-Nan of Hayden and Sienna (Christchurch), Corey and Courtney, and Saasha and Scott (NJ, USA); Eachann and Kathleen, (Auckland) Riley, and Nic and Beth (Cromwell), great grand Nana of Arlo (Christchurch), Joe and Charlie (Cromwell). Mum contributed to many aspects of family, community, and sports clubs, including associations and education, in a selfless life of voluntary work.

Family thank the staff of Ross Home, Dalkeith Wing for their care and compassion, allowing Mum to stay in her home.

A service for Loraine will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 10am on Saturday February 1, followed by private cremation.
