A long and difficult battle courageously fought.

Dearly loved husband of Sandra; precious devoted father of Nadya, Damian and the late Tamara; special father-in-law of Sam; much loved son of the late Bernie and Jean; and a loved and respected brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle. A valued colleague and good friend to many.

A private farewell and celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Friday. Due to the current restrictions spaces are limited, but if you would like to join the family, either in person or by livestream, please contact bennett-family@xtra.co.nz.
