WANROOY, Wolter Garret

While holding his hand on our 62nd wedding anniversary, Walter passed away at Leslie Groves Hospital, on August 30, 2020; aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband of Jenny / Jennifer, beloved father and father-in-law of Gaylene and Ian McCarroll, Graeme and Kim, Lisa and Ronny Cronqvist, loved Opi of Shaun and Kylie, Daniel, Jeremy, Beau, and Sophia, Great Opi of Willis and Gracie, loved brother and brother-in-law of John and Anka Wanrooy (Hokitika), the late Dennis and Marie Gaut, loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to all the carers and professionals that helped look after Walter at home and then the kindness, love and compassion he received during his final six months at Leslie Groves Hospital.

In accordance with Walters wishes a cremation has taken place and a private gathering will be held at a later date.
