CHEYNE, Desmond John (Des)

On March 23, 2021 at Dunedin Hospital, now at peace after a long struggle with dementia; in his 76th year.

Loved and loving husband of Raywyn for 54 years, devoted Dad and father-in-law of Nicky and Ross Standring, and Blair and Carlee Cheyne, proud Grandad of Jayden, Kyla; Madeline, and Rosie, loved youngest son of the late Alister and Vera, adored baby-brother of Joan and Fred Waine, Joy and Russell Hill, and Ron and Col Cheyne, loved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.

A farewell service for Des will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11.00am, on Wednesday April 28, followed by private cremation.
