On Friday February 25, 2022, peacefully at St. Andrew’s Home and Hospital, Dunedin; aged 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late Charlie Nelson, much loved and respected mother of Dot Stewart and Jenni Nelson, dearly loved grandma of Chris and Vick, Amanda and Justin, and Anthony, Greg, Oscar and Jennifer, Taylor-Rose and Ollie, adored great-grandma of Ruby, Jack and Charlie Stewart, Ali and Eden Culpan, and Roma and Luca Watson.

‘ Forever in our Hearts’

A private service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held at 2.00pm on Wednesday March 2, followed by private cremation.
