Peacefully, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village surrounded by her family, on May 23, 2022.

Dearly loved wife of the late Alan Dale, loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and John Coutts (St Leonards), David and Diane Dale (Green Island), Karen and Brent Cowan (Broadfield, Christchurch), treasured Grandmother of Hayden, Sophie, and Charlotte Coutts, Oliver, and Annabelle Cowan. Loved daughter of the late William and Agnes Thomsen (Gore), and sister of the late Pearl Thomsen.

A Celebration of Daphne’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2.00pm on Friday May 27, then to the Port Chalmers Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
