Determined to the end, Paul fought courageously to regain his life following a stroke, but sadly passed away on August 14, 2022; aged 73 years.

Very dearly loved husband of Sheryl, treasured and admired Dad of Anna and Johnathon, Philip and Tracy, much loved Step-Dad of Garrick and Sarah, and Courtenay and Jason.

Adored Grandad of Joshua, Matthew, and James; Ethan, Daniel, and Hayley; and Leo, and Amelie.

Paul was dedicated to serving the community, local government and commerce and did this with passion for over 50 years.

Special thanks to the staff of Dunedin Hospital for their support and care of Paul during his time there.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 10.30am on Friday August 19 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Orokonui Ecosanctuary would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
