BATES, Richard John (John)

On August 29, 2022, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 75 years.

Dearly loved husband of Marg, loved Dad and Father-in-law of Cyndi and Neil, Adrienne, Steven and Melanie, Timothy and Tina, Rachael and Andrew, and Samuel and Georgia. A much loved brother, friend and stirrer. John was an adored Pop to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 11am on Friday September 2, followed by private cremation.
