BERNEY, Edward Logie (Ted)

04.01.1928 – 07.09.2022

Enthusiastic raconteur and unofficial Dunedin historian, Ted died peacefully at Ross Home and Hospital.

Youngest son of the late Ada and Rod Berney, loved brother of the late Ken, Alice, Dorothy, Bruce, and Jean, beloved uncle of the late John Dennison and his wife Ann, beloved great-uncle of Sarah Dennison, and a friend to many.

Many thanks to the staff of Ross Home, Montecillo, and Frances Hodgkins for the care they showed to Ted in his last years.

A service for Ted will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2.00pm on Thursday September 15, followed by private cremation.
