On October 27,2022, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital with his family by his side; aged 72 years.

Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Alana and Bryce Holmes, loving Grandad to Olivia, Archer, and Harrison. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Marie and Graeme Bennett, Alan and Juliet and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A Service for John will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 11.00am on Tuesday, November 1, followed by private cremation.
