Loved husband of the late Gwen (nee Miller), much loved Dad and father-in-law of Kerry and Carmen, Julie and Dale, and Michael, Grandad of Anna, and Trevor; Patrick; Shannon, and Mikade, loved brother of Eddie^ and Bernie^ McNamara, Ettie and Mick^ Mackey, Kitty^ McNamara (Ireland), brother-in-law of Cathy Miller^, May^ and Peter^ Tisdall, Peter and Janet Miller, Jack^ Miller, Nancy^ and Bruce^ Matheson, Isla and Melville^ Whyte, Doreen Miller, and Tony Smith, much loved uncle and great-uncle of his nephews and nieces in Ireland and New Zealand.
