Hi everyone present, and far and wide. Hope this can be streamed.
I’ve lived a wonderful life with a wonderful lady and best mate, Patricia.
I didn’t want to go, but this is how it has to be. I fought the hardest I’ve ever done.
Without friends in your life, life is very dull. I’m so lucky I travelled the world and met the most amazing friends.
It’s very important to treasure friends – send a message, phone call or visit. Look after people and be kind to one another. Life is very short, so make the most of everything, even if it backfires – as that’s part of the fun.
My friends of 20+ years here in Dunedin are next level, and I’m very lucky. Thank you for everything.
I’m sure you will like these songs, as you know I wouldn’t be choosing classic songs.
Don’t be sad.
I’ll always be the life of the party wherever you all are.

FOSS, Darren John (Daz)

On February 20, 2023, in Dunedin, surrounded by his loving family and friends; aged 41 years.

Dearly loved husband of Patricia, loved brother of Carol and Paul, loved uncle of Olive, and son of Bernie, and the late Patricia.
Globally loved and remembered by so many special people from far and wide.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Holy Name Catholic Church, 420 Great King Street, Dunedin at 1.00pm on Friday February 24, followed by private cremation.
