On September 23, 2007 peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice, surrounded by her loving family; in her 84th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late William Frederick (Bill), much loved mother and mother-in-law of Dianne and Allan Ashworth, Gary and Rhonda Didham, loved Nanna of Nicola and Jason Merrett, Philippa and Cam Allum; Megan and Simon, Jayne and Davy, cherished Great Nanna Thelma of Blake and Logan; Ashleigh and Dylan.

A service to celebrate Thelma's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1pm on Wednesday September 26 followed by private cremation.
