Rose, Veda (nee Lanauze)

Peacefully, in loving care at Walmsley House Invercargill, on Thursday, October 18; aged 97 years.

Veda was oldest of thirteen children of the Lanauze family of Green Island.

Much loved wife of the late John Rose and mother and mother-in-law of June and George Williams, Stuart and Mizue Rose and Anne Rose. Treasured by grand children Linda, Michael, Helen, Peter, Elizabeth, Sarah and David and she was also a beloved great and great-great grandmother.

A celebration of Veda's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.30pm on Wednesday, October 24, followed by interment at the Green Island Cemetery.
