GWYNNE, Jill Margaret

Passed away peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 after a courageous battle; in her 65th year.

Adored and loved by her husband Graeme Pennell, daughters Jessie, and Ellie, and Jess’ partner Josh, cherished stepmother of Grace, and Mick and partner Jenny, and Grandma Jill of wee Freddy, loved soulmate and sister of Helen Dube and sister-in-law of Danny, beloved aunt of Sarah, Ana, Josh, and families. Our warm thanks to the staff of Ward 8C, Dunedin Hospital, Dr Fagan, and Jill’s medical team.
Jill is a shining light to her extended family, friends, and colleagues.

A celebration of Jill’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2.00pm on Tuesday August 29, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Ranui House, Christchurch (via bmct.org.nz/donate-to-ranui ) or to the Otago Myeloma Research Unit (via contact to pathology@otago.ac.nz) would be appreciated. Please leave a message on the above tributes page, where you can also livestream the service.
