RUSSELL, Wallace Steel

On September 3, 2023, peacefully at home with family, after a hard fought battle; aged 79 years. Loved and adored husband to Glenys, dearly loved Dad to Lisa and Graeme, and Alasdair and Adrianne, adored Grandad of Juliet and Henry; and Amber and Emma, lovely big brother of Gillian Robertson and brother-in-law of Gordon Robertson, and an amazing uncle, great-uncle and special friend to many.

A heartfelt thanks to the District Nurses, Dr Bradfield, the team at Dunedin Public Hospital, and others for the wonderful care for Wallace over the years.

A service to celebrate Wallace’s life will be held at Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Anderson Bay Road, Dunedin, at 10am on Monday September 11, followed by private cremation. Messages can be left on Wallace’s page above where you can also find a link to livestream the service.
