SEELEY, Derek John (D.J).

On September 9, 2023, in Dunedin; after prolonged health issues, pain free at last. Much loved husband of Jet, loved Dad of Rich, Laurie and Mike, Miren and Ross. Adored G. Dad of Jerome, and Sheldon; Jenna, and Ella; Jem, and Marnie. Great Grandad of Mila-Rose, and Axl, loved big brother to Ann, and Sherri. Cherished friend of Gerald and Margaret, Jane and Meg. Acknowledged second dad Dad to many teenagers over two generations.

A celebration of Derek’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 11am on Friday, September 15, followed by private cremation. Messages to 76 Kenmure Road, Belleknowes, Dunedin 9011 or on Derek’s page above where a livestream of the service can also be viewed.
