JAMES, Brett Alan (Bretty) MStJ - On November 1, 2023, at home; aged 52 years.

Devoted and loving husband of Helen, amazing dad and friend of Ethan, much loved son of Alan and Joyce James, loved brother and brother-in-law of Gooba (Craig) and Bernie, loved son-in-law of Barbara and the late Michael Parry, brother-in-law of Bronwen and Les McNoe, uncle of Mitchell, and Courtney; Cameron, and Christopher.

Bretty is loved and will be missed by his family, friends, St John colleagues and the many others whose lives he has touched.

A celebration of Brett’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 10.30am on Thursday November 9th, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Order of St John, Dunedin Area would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
