Took her last flight on November 17, 2023; recently of Dunedin (NZ), previously of Essex (CT, USA). Loved daughter of Hugh^ and Joyce^, much loved sister, sister-in-law, and sister outlaw of Alison (London), Ian^ and Dawn (Dunedin), Don (Oamaru) and Bev (Auckland), loved and fabulous aunt to Pene and Wayne, Glenn^, Bryce and Kerstin, Kiersten and Andrew, Marjon, Greg and Blenda, loved Great Aunt, Gaga, of Peta and Glenn, Audrey and Mila, Emily and Olivia, and Benicio, loved cousin of Judith Fletcher (Thomson) and Nigel, loved and adored by her many kiwi and northern hemisphere friends (^Denotes deceased).

A service to celebrate Ailsa’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2pm, on Friday, November 24, followed by private cremation. Messages can be left on Ailsa’s tribute page above where you can find a link to livestream the service.
