MacMILLAN, Myrie (nee Beatson)

On November 22, 2023 at Dunedin Hospital; in her 94th year.

Dearly loved wife to Ian, mother and mother-in-law to Malcolm, Fiona, Matt, and Rosana, grandmother to James, Sam, Lucy, and Ben, much loved Aunty to her many cherished nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

Saturday, November 25 would have been her 94th birthday. She lived independently and actively until a very recent fall, enjoying her gym at Unipol (where she was an inspiration to many), her church, gardening, cooking, reading and trips to town each week.

Myrie’s funeral service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 1pm on Saturday, December 2.
