Loving and greatly loved husband of Annette and the late Joan. Loved father and father-in-law of Roger and Cathy (USA), Joanne and John Aitken, Peter, Noel and Maxine (Christchurch). Greatly loved and respected Granstan of Joan, and Erin (USA); Emma; Matthew, Marc, Samuel, and Elliott; Megan, Lukas and Ciara; and Annette's grandchildren. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Agnes and the late Walter Paine (Hamilton), Keith and Irene Gilchrist (Christchurch).

A service for Stanley will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Wednesday November 7 followed by private cremation.
