Suddenly at his home on March 9, 2024; aged 77 years.

Much loved husband and best friend of Carolyn, dearly loved Dad of Chris and Melinda, and Nicky, loved Grandy of Emily, and Grace, and adored “G” of Harry Macknight, loved brother and brother-in-law of Maurice and Vicki, loved uncle of Simon, Jonothan, and Kirsty, and their families, loved brother-in-law of Joan, Kath and Rick, and loved uncle of Tom.

In lieu of flowers donations to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ would be appreciated and may be lodged via www.breastcancerfoundation.org.nz/donate or left at the service.

A celebration of David’s life will be held in Knox Church, 449 George Street, Dunedin at 2.00pm on Monday March 18, followed by private cremation.
