Loved father and father-in-law of  Sascha, Mikaela and Antony, Tareq and Daphne, Thomas and Rula, Tim and Loelle, and Dorothy, loved step-father of Chris and Larina, and Tracey and Glenn, loved Grandad of Henry, Eamon, Luis, Elliot, Oliver, Joy, Lorraine, Brooklyn, Mikaela, Christine, and Andrew, loved and respected friend of Sue, Joy, Ellenita, Jacqueline, Kathi, Anne-Marie, and Alex. 

Michael is resting at home at 3 Ree Street, Waitati and visitors are welcome.

A gathering and blessing will take place at St Dunstan Catholic Church, 59 Sunderland Street, Clyde at 11.30am on Tuesday April 2 followed by burial at Clyde Cemetery, Springvale Road at 1.00pm
