MUNRO CHARTERS, Anna-Kristy (AK)
On April 20, 2024, at Otago Community Hospice; aged 42 years, our brave, courageous and one of a kind Anna-Kristy found her peace at last. 

Adored wife of Paul, beloved mum of Elle Grace and step mum of Billie, Isla and Emme; her four girls. Treasured and loving daughter of Wendy and Chris. Deeply loved big sister to Daniel, and Gemma, and precious sister in law to Anthony Matsopoulos. Besotted and dearly loved Aunty of Maddison, and Kye Munro, and Leonardo, and River Matsopoulos; her “angel boys”. A treasured and loved member of the Charters, and Munro extended family. A very special, loyal, and beloved friend to so many. 

Special thanks to the staff at Otago Community Hospice who took such loving care of our precious Anna-Kristy. Our family gratitude for your staff transcends all words. Thank you to the 8C staff at Dunedin Public Hospital who cared for her many times over the last 7 years. A deep and heartfelt thank you to Oncologist Dr Chris Jackson, her “special man”, for the dignified care and kindness you bestowed on our special lady.  

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated in honour of Anna-Kristy and her time being cared for there. 

A celebration of Anna-Kristy’s brilliant and wonderful life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 11.00am on Friday April 26 followed by a private burial.
