On May 27, 2024, surrounded by her family at Otago Community Hospice; aged 75 years.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of James and Sarah, Jake and Tina, Sam and Janet, loved Grandma Wheels to Conner, Alex; Isaac, Emma; Rowan, and Will.

Thank you to the amazing staff at Royal District Nursing Services for the exceptional dedication and care of Gay for many years. Thank you to the Otago Community Hospice for the empathetic and genuine care of Gay.

A private cremation has been held. Anyone wishing to remember Gay alongside her family are welcome to come to Ombrellos Kitchen and Bar, 10 Clarendon Street, Dunedin North, on Saturday June 1, between 2 and 4pm.
