On June 8, 2024, died peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village; aged 97 years.

Loved husband of the late Dorothy, and the late Norma.
Loved father and father-in-law of Paul Barrett and Linda McGilvary, Linda and Gary Milford, beloved Grandad of Tim Barrett, Jared, Ethan, Liam, Joseph and Tiana Milford, and Great Grandad of Scarlett.

Companion of Honour of St Paul’s Cathedral, Dunedin
Musician and Teacher to several generations.
A True Servant of God.

A Memorial Service will be held in St Paul’s Cathedral, The Octagon, Dunedin at 1pm on Thursday June 20.

In lieu of flowers, donations for the St Paul’s Cathedral Restoration Fund would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
