On December 5, 2007, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 87 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Ronald (Rusty) Toms, loved mother of Hugh (Christchurch), Wayne, Cordelia and Bruce Thomas (Lower Hutt), loved Nana and Granny of Murray, Andrew, Steven; Jane, Shane; Chris, Cameron, and Jessica Thomas and loved by all her great-grandchildren.

A service for Gladys will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3pm on Monday, December 10, followed by private cremation.
