ORANGE, Margaret Joan

On 13 August 2026, peacefully at home with family. Aged 98.

Adored wife of Bill for 72 years.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Joan and Hedley Aitken, John and Colleen, Kathleen and Rick Field, Mark and Kirsty (and the late Susan), Andrew and Dianne, Jillian and Cecil Wood.

Loved Nana of 19 and Great Nana of 17.

A loved sister, sister-in-law and auntie of many.

In lieu of flowers a donation to either Caritas NZ or Challenge 2000 would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Sincere thanks to Dr John Gordon, Karyn Percy, the Carers, Access Workers, Palliative Care Team and everyone else that helped care for Margaret over the years.

A farewell celebration of Margaret’s life will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Rd, Carterton on Friday 21 August 2026 at 11.00am followed by private cremation.

Margaret's service will be Livestreamed.
