Passed away peacefully with his son Lance at his side on December 23, 2007, at Montecillo Veterans Home, Dunedin; in his 88th year.

Loved husband of the late Elsie Dunning, birth child of Mary Agnes Kenneally, and James Lancelot Knox, and raised by the late Hannah and James Dunning. Loved father of Lance, and father-in-law to Annette, special Grandad to Charlotte, Scott and Luke.

You fought hard Dad in every aspect of your life and are forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.

The family thank the wonderful staff at Montecillo for the care and attention given to Brian in the past 13 months.

A service for Brian will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Saturday, January 5, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trustees of Montecillo Veterans Home would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
