On January 14, 2008, peacefully after a long illness at Leslie Groves Hospital, Dunedin, aged 69 years.

Loved father of Melanie Stewart, and Gregory, and loved grandfather of Blair, Emma, and Brianna.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street , Dunedin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday January 22 followed by private cremation.
