On February 28, 2008 peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice; in his 69th year.

Dearly loved husband of Brenda, loved father and father-in-law of Jackie and Stephen Christos, Paulette and Jeff Richardson, Tracey and Barry Bennet, loved grandad of Simon and Erana, and Alana; Kerri and Gary, Matt and Tash, Kate and Logan; Phillip, Michael, and Sam; loved great-grandad of Aliyah, and Levi; and Brayden.

A service for Alan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner of Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 1:30pm on Monday March 3, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
