On March 8, 2008 in the compassionate care of the Otago Community Hospice; in his 83rd year.

Loved husband of Joan and father and father-in-law and grandfather of Andrew, Karen, Nicola and Richard (Wanaka); Fiona, Jonathan, Michael, Alex and Norman (Christchurch) and the late Christopher and Helen. Also brother and brother-in-law of Bob and Jill MacLeod (Christchurch), Joan and Alan Cooke (Queenstown), and the late Jean and George Bowler and Alec McLeod.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10.30am on Wednesday March 12, followed by private cremation.
