On April 25, 2008 at Dunedin Public Hospital peacefully after a short illness.

Loved husband of the late Hazel Ayers, loved Father and Father-in-law of Ray and Dianne, Karen and Tony, Grandfather of Caitlin and Justine, Zoe and Josh.

A Service for Rex will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Thursday May 1, followed by a Private Cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Blind Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
