Promoted to Glory on Sunday May 18, 2008 at Dunedin Hospital; in his 97th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Dot, loved father and father-in-law of Ray and Ann (Hamilton), and Sue (Dunedin), loved grandad of Anne, Hugh, and Manaakiao; Nathan Tane, Matthew Tane and the late Cathy Tane, loved great grandad of Moses, Hera, and Ana Winders, Raphael, and Matheson Tane.

Will be missed by his great friend Ron and the Pine Hill Community.

A service will be held at the Salvation Army 575 Princes Street at 2pm on Thursday May 22, followed by private cremation.
