On May 31, 2008 peacefully in Dunedin; aged 68 years.

Dearly loved husband of Adrienne, loved father and father-in-law of Joanna and Jeremy (London), Richard and Marta (London), William and the late Philippa. Loved Papa of Pippa, and Amelia. Dearly cherished friend of Norman and Eleanor Gray (Auckland).

A service for John will be held in First Church of Otago, Moray Place at 11.00am on Friday June 6, followed by private cremation.
