Dearly loved and loving husband of Miriam. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Steve and the late Margaret and Clare (Ohoka), John and the late Julie Bensemen (Waikanae), Nigel and Christine (Dunedin), and Sharon and Chris Denton (Dunedin). Dearly loved grandad of Chris and Laura, and Mike and Maria (Christchurch), Karla and Charlie Matthews (Featherston), Michelle, and Mark Benseman (Waikanae), Melanie and Mike, and Richard and Amy (Dunedin), Jeremy (Cromwell), Paula, and Stephanie (Dunedin), and Kathryn (Melbourne), and adoring great-grandfather of his seven great-grandchildren.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 11am on Monday, June 9, followed by private cremation.

Flowers respectfully declined.
