Dearly loved husband of Katherine (Kath), loved step-father of Pamela and Jim Quinn (deceased), Mary and Dennis McPhee (Oamaru), step-grandad of Lee, Corrina (Angie) and Brent, and the late Quentin Hopewell, also great-grandad of wee Mitchell.

Requiem Mass for Ernie will be celebrated in St Patrick's Basilica, Macandrew Road at 1:30pm on Wednesday July 16 followed by burial in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
