On July 24, 2008; aged 81 years, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital after a short illness.

Dearly loved husband of Olwyn for 59 years, father of Clare, John, Ross and Alan, father-in-law of Janet, Elizabeth and Kate, grandfather of Christopher, William, Sarah, Jonty, Matthew, Christina, Stephen, Cameron, Timothy, Joanna, Jessica, and Sebastian.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 10:00am on Tuesday July 29, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Child Cancer Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
