Peacefully on July 24, 2008, at the Otago Community Hospice; in his 82nd year. Dearly loved husband of Jenny, loved father and father-in-law of Adam and Marilyn, Matthew and Nikki, Brett and the late Felicity Irvine. Loved and respected grandfather of Imogen, and Athene; Frano, Benjamin, Jasper, and Micaela.

A Service for George will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12 noon on Tuesday July 29 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
