SMITH, James Wilson (Jim)

On September 10, 2008 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 83 years.

Dearly loved husband and friend of Daphne for 61 years, much loved Dad and father-in-law of Sandra and Lyndon Hawkins (Oamaru), Alvin and Deborah (Sawyers Bay), Raylene and Wayne Welsh (Sawyers Bay), and loved and respected Popsa of Craig and Melany, Aaron and Tracy, Kelly and Jeff; Julie, and Cameron; Tina and Hamish, Haidee and Jordan, and his 5 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Fred and Shirley (Richmond), twin brother Joe and the late Jean (Auckland), and the late Betty and Alan Marshall.

A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held in the Harbour Rugby Football Club, 28B Albertson Avenue, Port Chalmers at 11:00am on Monday September 15 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
