On September 30, 2008 suddenly at Dunedin Hospital; aged 71 years.

Dearly loved and loving husband and soulmate of Wilma, loved stepfather and father of Paul and Maree McDonald (Blenheim), Christopher and Wendy McDonald (Rolleston), Rex and Lee McDonald (Auckland), Jason and Bridget (Christchurch), Tracy and Sue (Gorge Rd). Dearly loved grandad of all his grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A service for Abb will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Friday October 3, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for Kidney Health N.Z. would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
