Peacefully at Otago Community Hospice on October 16,2008; aged 79 years.

Much loved husband of the late Lesley and father and father-in-law of Diane and Chris, Nicola and John, and grandfather of Grace, and Jeremy; Kate, and Tom. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ken and Gwen McEachen, Wallace and the late Dorothy Carruth.

A service to celebrate the life of John will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Tuesday October 21 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
