On November 6, 2008 at Dunedin Hospital with his family beside him; aged 63 years.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Robyn. Much loved father and father-in-law of Sonia and Pete (Kaka Point), Mel and Grant and special friend of Rosann and Denise. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian and Shirley, Jim and Ann, Andrea and Rob (Auckland) and loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Murray's life will be held at the Northeast Valley Baptist Church, North Road, Dunedin at 1.00pm on Monday November 10, followed by private cremation.
