On November 19, 2008 (as the result of an accident); in her 70th year.

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Melanie and Alan, Marcus and Sharon, Amanda and Todd, Laurel and Lincoln and birth mother of Steve. Loved nanny of Samara and Nikita; Heather and Mirren; Hannah, Sam, and Isobel; Jude; Adam, Briar, and Julia. Beloved eldest daughter of the late Jessie and Eric Duff, loved sister and sister-in-law of Pamela and John, Dian and Warren, Jennifer and Dean, Eric and Noelene, loved aunty Lou of her nieces and nephews, loved ex-wife of John, and loved friend of Jimmy.

A service for Lois will be held in St Johns Anglican Church, Highgate Dunedin at 1.30pm on Tuesday November 25, followed by private cremation.
