TWEEDIE, William Ernest (Ernie)

On December 4, 2008 peacefully at Marne Street Hospital, Dunedin.

Dearly loved husband for 58 years of Shirley, loved father and father-in-law of Warren and Robyn, Les and Kate (Rotorua), Bevan and Alison (Brisbane), Mark, Darryl and Christine, Michelle and Malcolm Wilks and the late Brendon. Much loved grandad of Nicola, Rebecca, Benjamin, Shannon, Vanessa, Emma, Jonathon, Grace, James and Jesse, dearly loved great grandad of Ashleigh, Hannah, Nicholas, Natalie and triplets - Blake, Lachlan and Kate, and Jackson.

Many thanks to the staff of Marne Street Hospital for their care of Ernie over the last seven years.

When I come to the end of the road

A service for Ernie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12 noon on Monday December 8, followed by private cremation.
