Loved husband of Daphne, loved father and father-in-law of Garry and Amanda (Australia), Glenys and Alex Mckean (Christchurch), Iain and Adrienne (Dunedin), David and Louise (Milton), Kathryn (Kate) and Stephen Turner (Omarama), Raewyn and Greg Trainor (Dunedin), much loved grandad of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beloved youngest son of the late Herman and Lilias Sonntag (Brockville).

A service for Charlie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 10.30am on Thursday December 4 followed by private cremation.
