On February 28, 2009, at Dunedin Hospital; in her 99th year.

Beloved wife of the late Colin, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Beverley and Geoff Ritchie (Armidale, NSW), Brian and Judith (Christchurch), and Ian and Joan, much loved nana of Jenny, Peter, Belinda, and the late Kenneth; Eleanor, Rebecca, Melanie, and Richard; Carolyn, and Angela and loved great-grandmother of Sarah, Matthew, Angus, Kaeden, Benjamin and Ryan.

A service for Barbara will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 2.30pm on Thurdsay March 5, followed by private cremation.
