Dearly loved husband of Leslie for 64 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Margaret and Winston Fleming (Oamaru), Robert and Sharron (Sandymount), and Ann and Geoff Michael (Auckland), loved granddad of Janice, Debbie, and Michael; Timothy, Kerryn and Sarah; Chelsea, David and Alice and a loved great grandfather and great great grandfather.

A service for George will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Saturday March 14 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
